Where an assessment or report is commissioned, the scope, purpose and limitations are clarified at the outset and professional opinions are formed independently.
Professional Consultation
Kirsten provides professional consultation to attorneys, advocates, Family Advocates, social workers, psychologists, schools and other professionals who require an experienced child and family perspective.
Focused or ongoing professional input may assist with understanding relational dynamics, considering child-centred intervention options, planning contact or reunification pathways, reviewing parenting arrangements, considering assessment needs, identifying appropriate referrals and clarifying professional roles and boundaries.
Professional Case Review
A case review provides an opportunity to consider the circumstances, available information, professional concerns and potential intervention pathways within a particular child and family matter.
This is a specialist professional consultation service and is distinct from case management. Kirsten does not position the practice as a case-management service.
