I am an internationally experienced Senior Social Worker and Child and Family Specialist, providing specialist, child-centred and evidence-informed professional services in complex and high-conflict family matters in South Africa and internationally.
My work focuses particularly on rebuilding parent–child relationships, supporting safe and sustainable reunification, facilitating structured contact, strengthening parent–child bonds, assisting families through significant transitions and helping parents establish practical, child-centred parenting arrangements.
My Approach
My approach is child-centred, evidence-informed and professionally independent. I tailor interventions to the circumstances and needs of each child and family rather than following a predetermined outcome.
Depending on the matter, my work may involve assessment, structured intervention, observation, supervised contact, interactional analysis, parenting coordination, parenting plans, transition planning, reunification or relationship reconstruction.

A Specialist Focus
Some family matters require more than ordinary communication or informal arrangements. Where a parent–child relationship has become disrupted, contact has broken down, parents remain in ongoing high conflict, or a family is moving through a significant transition, a structured professional intervention may be required.
I work with children, parents and families to understand the circumstances and relationships affecting the child and to develop appropriate pathways forward.
Direct Access to Senior Specialist Expertise
I provide all professional services directly. As a Senior Social Worker and Child and Family Specialist, I personally undertake the assessment, intervention, consultation and professional work within each matter.
Because of the specialist and intensive nature of my work, I intentionally maintain a limited caseload. This allows me to give each matter the level of professional attention, continuity and senior specialist involvement it requires.
Clients and referring professionals therefore have direct access to my senior specialist expertise and professional judgement throughout the process.

I also provide a range of supporting child and family services, including specialist assessment, child and family and forensic assessment, bonding and relationship support, behavioural and adolescent support, family intervention and professional consultation.
